I love reading tongue twisters, and here are some of my favorites.

Let’s read every sentence repeatedly.

 

1.       Saya sebel sama situ sebab situ suka senyum-senyum sama istri saya.

I hate you because you smile a lot to my wife.

 

2.       Kuku kaki kakekku kaku-kaku.

My grandfather’s toe nails are stiff.

 

3.       Satu sate tujuh tusuk.

One satay seven sticks.

 

4.       Keledai makan kedelai di kedai.

A donkey is eating soybean in a café.

 

5.       Ular lari lurus.

A snake is running straight.

 

6.       Kelapa diparut, kepala digaruk.

A coconut is being grated, a head is being scratched.

 

7.       Satu ribu, dua biru, tiga ribu, empat biru, lima ribu, enam biru.

One thousand, two blue, three thousands, four blue, five thousands, six blue.

 

8.       Ular melingkar-lingkar di pinggir pagar.

A snake coils up at the edge of the fence.

 

9.       Kucing kuningku kencing di kunci-kunciku.

My yellow cat peed on my keys.

 

10.  Dudung, tolong ambilkan dandang di dinding dong, Dung!

Dudung, please get me a dandang (a traditional rice cooker) on the wall.
