Formal: Apa yang sedang Anda lakukan?
Informal: Kamu sedang apa?
Slang: Kamu lagi ngapain?

I’m eating.
Formal: Saya sedang makan.
Informal: Saya lagi makan.

The word “sedang” or “lagi” in slang means that the action is in progress.

Saya sedang mandi.
I am taking a shower.
Saya sedang masak.
I am cooking.
Saya sedang menyetir mobil.
I am driving a car.
Saya sedang bermain.
I am playing.
Saya sedang menonton TV.
I am watching TV.
